Extreme Metal, Stuck on the Old Format I Am.

I must admit, I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to Extreme Metal music. So many genres have come to light, stronger and more menacing than the old genres.

However, I'm still stuck with Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, and Cephalic Carnage, and Suffocation. I used to be heavily into Deicide and Black Metal's Dark Funeral, but I've dropped these genres now.

Suffocation's latest offal - Blood Oath is reminiscent of Morbid Angel, yet the pounding beats remain their signature.

Zerg Rules - Starcraft 2

Zerg - Starcraft

Nothing beats the Zerg race in Starcraft. Their hideous looks; their dank, slimy, and creepy habitation; the diabolical sounds their structures as well as the units make when you click on them is simply amazing. Now that Starcraft 2 is out, I've come to appreciate this race even more. I'm still wondering what happened to that great Cerebrate Daggoth in Starcraft I.

The difference in strategies between the original Starcraft and the new release is quite annoying if you've only started playing the new release. I missed the lurker, these new units don't give justice to the loss of the unit. The other two races are just plain boring.

Right now my stats haven't changed much. 1 win to 2 losses. For those who enjoy RTS, you shouldn't miss getting a copy of Starcraft 2.

GeForce GT 240 1GB on Starcraft 2

Recently Starcraft 2 made the headlines on pc game news. I must admit that I've always been a fan of Starcraft Broodwar since 1998. I could never exchange RTS  to RPG, for the simple reason that RTS involves planning, executing, and finally reaping what you deserve in the end, be it loss or victory.

However, the game is a bit demanding interms of graphic cards. So I had to diss my old pc and buy a new one, was a bit anxious if the graphics card on my new pc would work on Starcraft 2 which is  NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 1GB. Well, it does work, if set on medium graphic settings. You can't go higher or your pc will crash.

Medium setting is enough for me, for so long as I can play the game. So for those who are curious if Starcraft 2 does work on GeForce GT 240, yes it does work.

Psychic Sally Real or Fake?

My wife and I usually sit comfortable on the settee late at night on certain days of the week watching Psychic Sally. Notice how she looks slimmer. She really is doing well, packed halls, fancy car, etc...

But to me, Sally Morgan appears pretty much staged. Those among the audience who were 'touched' by messages from the dead, could have been actors under her pay for all we know.

Anyways, have to cut this short, my wife loves her.

X Factor's Matt Cardle

He's got the voice of a rockstar, a bit bland in looks, but his entry to the X-Factor was simply astounding. Who would have thought a painter/decorator would have a voice like that? His version of Amy Winehouse 'You Know I'm No Good' was spectacular. Upon entering the X Factor contest he claimed to being a painter/decorator and that he was in his own words 'a bit of a bum'. This down-to-earth attitude of Matt was an added bonus indeed.

However, recent articles about him were not very positive, shedding light to his true colours, first he wasn't just a painter/decorator as he already was or is in a band called Seven Summers, I must admit that I downloaded the whole album off Amazon just to hear it, vedict - good. Then there's the verbal tussle between him and the other contestant Wagner, according to MTV.co.uk, Matt branded Wagner 'a f... joke' if he makes it to the finals.

But you just don't believe everything that the media puts out do you?

He's a good singer and thats it. Apart form Rebecca Ferguson, he's my best bet for this year's X Factor.
